MBTI® TYPE TODAY Current Initiatives

When we (Peter and Kathy Myers) became co-guardians of the MBTI® Inventory in 1980, we established personal goals and guidelines for our work together, including a list of initiatives on which to focus. Some have been accomplished, some are still in process and others have been added as the need developed.

TYPE DEVELOPMENT AND IN-DEPTH UNDERSTANDING OF THE EIGHT JUNGIAN PROCESSES: The creation of the MBTI® Inventory represents pioneering work in giving individuals access to the benefits of a complex theory. The history of the MBTI® community of users has been one of increasing depth of understanding, breadth of application, and skill in interpretation-an ongoing process. Currently these topics are at the forefront of discussion in the MBTI ® community. Keep up with the developments by checking in with Expanding Type.
